Guest Party

This past Friday night was our first themed Guest Party.  We really had a great time at the “Luau”!  Everyone was greeted at the door with a lei.  We passed around the grass skirts, and feasted on the fabulous food provided by all in attendance.  We even had a birthday cake to celebrate Joyce ’s birthday!  Jerry programmed a ‘Luau Party’ into the sound system with many Foxtrots, Swings, and Tangos.  Our thanks again to those who helped us prepare for it and to clean afterwards.  All of you really do make it easy for us to enjoy our time with you as well!

If you were unable to make this one, you still have the opportunity to experience all of the fun at our next one.  The theme for the August 20^th Guest Party will be “South of the Border”.  You are welcome to invite your family and friends.  Please let us know how many to expect.  Again, we encourage you to dress for the occasion to help you get in the mood.  Your comfort level is of utmost concern so if casual or glitzy is your gig, have at it!

Festival of the Arts & The Ten Tones

A couple of weeks ago, I told you that we would have the opportunity to dance to The Ten Tones, a Latin Band that played for our May Tea Dance.  Their performance time has been confirmed for the Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts for August 21^st from 3:30 to 4:30.  They will follow the show that we will be performing at 3 p.m.  Again, we invite you to come join us during The Ten Tones performance so we can show off your progress to the community.

Group Sessions This Week

Tuesday, July 20^th  6 – 7 p.m.      Tango

Thursday, July 22^nd 6 -7 p.m.       Rumba

Social (Practice) Parties always follow our Group Sessions from 7 – 8:30 p.m.

Early Closing Time this Friday

We will closing the studio at 3:00 p.m. this Friday, July 23^rd.  We will see you again at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 26^th.
