Hello!

We hope that all of you have had successful, progressive weeks since our last writing.

To everyone new on this list, we say, “Welcome!”  You may view previous newsletters and our event calendar at our website – www.PremiereSocial.com.  We encourage and appreciate it when you share these newsletters with others whom you feel may be interested in our ballroom activities and program. 

This past Friday (September 10^th) we had the opportunity and pleasure to attend the Oconomowoc Memorial Auxiliary fund raiser at Olympia Resort in Oconomowoc.  Our guests for the evening were Ms. Suzanne Lawrence and Ms. Denise Kurtzweil .  We were able to view and participate in the Silent Auction from 5-7 p.m.   All proceeds benefit AngelsGrace Hospice which provides highly specialized end-of-life care to terminally ill patients of all ages.  The evening included a wonderful meal followed by dancing to The Ten Tones (a band featured here at the ballroom for one of our monthly Tea Dances).  The Chapmans and the Gards were in attendance creating for us yet another opportunity toward community spirit.  We had a delightful evening!  Thank you, Denise and Suzanne , for attending this benefit with us!

GUEST PARTY – THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 17TH   (7- 9 P.M.)

This month’s theme:  50’s Sock Hop (by special request of my daughter, Catherine , and Mrs. Muehlbauer ).

As usual, please RSVP by this Wednesday so that we know how much to plan for our special dessert treats this month.  You may bring an entrée ( Suzanne and I are making Sloppy Joes, so if you would like to make a batch to add to the pot, please let me know) or a salad dish.  The ballroom will provide beverages and dessert, as previously mentioned. 

Several of us have already selected or are in the process of selecting our attire (costumes).  We invite you to dress for the occasion to your own personal level of comfort.  I searched high and low for a poodle skirt since this era is a little before my time <wink, wink> and resigned myself to 2^nd hand shopping and energized my creative juices!  YIPPEE!  We are very excited and are looking forward to another fun evening with all of you.

The Guest Party celebrates your accomplishments with Dance.  Therefore, we are happy for you to invite your family and friends to come see your progress.  This is a free social evening.

SEPTEMBER 26^TH TEA DANCE (3 – 5 P.M.)

Our 4^th Sunday of the Month Tea Dance, “Fall into the Rhythm”, will feature a live, local band “Artificial Hip” (f.k.a. Ruff Riders).  You may visit their website at http://www.artificialhip.net to meet the band and review their song set.  The Tea Dance is free and open to the public.  The band will even be giving away door prizes!  So please bring your family and friends and plan on having a fantastic time!  There is no dress code; whatever makes you comfortable.  However, we do recommend no tennis shoes as it prevents you from gliding easily across the ballroom floor.

OCTOBER GUEST PARTY

We mistakenly scheduled October’s Guest Party on the 15th over the Studio’s Miami/4 Night Western Caribbean Cruise.  Therefore, we are canceling it, and the Tea Dance on October 24^th will take its place as the Costume Party for the month.  Same time as usual – 3 to 5 p.m.  The Tea Tones will be playing for us again!  We always have a great time with them.

Things are beginning to rev up again with the kids’ return to school and the waning of summer.  If it has been a while since you have been here, please call or email us to let us know how you are and to get you back into the schedule and back on your feet.  We are so looking forward to see you all again!
