Hello! Everyone,

September Tea Dance

We just wanted to say “Thank You!” again to the band, Artificial Hip, for playing here at the studio this past Sunday for our monthly Tea Dance.  Their music was as good as I remembered from last summer.  We have received many kudos from the attendees on behalf of the band.  We had a great time and hope to have them back again soon!  Band wear (t-shirts) were given away to guests for their dancing enthusiasm and participation.  What a treat.  Speaking of treats, the band brought them!  Delicious, chocolate dipped sweets provided by Lyn.  She always does such nice things for people!

Mary Lou came all the way from Janesville to see us again, and she brought her friend, Betty .  It was great to see Mary Lou again and to meet Betty .  We even had a guest, Laura , from Chicago dropping in to see what’s new and happening in the fall at Premiere Social Ballroom.  Thank you, Laura , for taking the time to be with us.  It was wonderful to see you again!  We appreciate the support all of you give us.

When your guest accepts our 5/$25 Introductory Special, our thank you to you for the referral you have provided is a complimentary session.  So please feel free to share your love of ballroom dancing!

Studio Closed – October 9^th-17^th

We will be closed the week of Oct. 10^th-16^th as we are cruising in the Caribbean (Port of Call:  Cozumel , Mexico ) with Sue !  We anticipate that more will consider joining us on the next one!  We will see you on Monday (the 17^th) at 10 a.m.

Saturday, Oct. 2^nd           Chicago, 10 a.m., Instructor’s in Training DVIDA Jr. Associate Certification Exam.  Wish them success if you see them before then!

Sunday, Oct. 3^rd             Country Inn, Pewaukee, Dinner & Professional Ballroom Dance Show (4-9:00 p.m.)  Tickets are still available until Friday (5:00) if you are interested in attending with your ballroom staff. Miss Catherine Schardt and Mr. Jerry Cloud will be performing their Samba routine that evening! Call in or come by for more details to join us.

Sunday, Oct. 26^th            “Costume Party” Tea Dance  (3 -5 p.m.) featuring one of your local favorites:  The Ten Tones.  Have you selected your costume yet?  We are gearing up for another great afternoon with you!

Dance Camp 2005

Mark your calendar.  Las Vegas , here we come!  Consider joining us for Dance Vision’s Dance Camp 2005 in Las Vegas from June 12-17^th at the recently remodeled Gold Coast Hotel & Casino.  See the attachment to this email for more details of the week’s events and speak with your instructor at Premiere Social Ballroom to begin planning for this event.  You will receive as many as 32 hours (M-Th 9 a.m. to 1 p.m and 2:30 – 6:30 p.m.) of intensive instruction from some of the top professionals in the industry. 

The Dance Camp 2004 schedule included four days of classes featuring separate rooms devoted to Beginning, Intermediate I, Intermediate II & Advanced instruction.  There were 120 classes to choose from including American Style (Rumba, Cha Cha, East Coast Swing, Samba, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz), International Style (Rumba, Cha Cha, Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep), West Coast Swing, Night Club 2 Step and Argentine Tango.  A practice room is available every night.  To top it all off, there is a Grand Banquet, General Dancing, Super Star Show and Student Showcase on Thursday evening featuring the routines learned throughout the week!  This year’s offerings will be forthcoming in the months ahead.

This is definitely a valuable way to enhance your dance experience. Denise K. has committed to going and is anxiously awaiting others to join us!
