Hello! Everyone,

It is update time again! I realize that it has been a while since I have last updated you, so please bear with me on the length of this. We have implemented several changes which have limited my availability and access to email for providing these updates to you and for that I apologize.

One fantastic change is a new addition to our staff! My dear friend, Elizabeth ( Liz ) Wagstrom, has joined our staff and is providing bookkeeping/accounting assistance for us. Liz , Jerry and I worked together as mortgage loan processors in ’02 and ’03 for a mortgage broker in Hartland. The three of us were a great team then and accomplished many things together in his business. We expect that to only continue as we now work together again in service to you.

Liz’s help and business office knowledge, as well as computer software familiarity, has proven to be an INVALUABLE help and resource for freeing up some of my time so that I may attend to other business matters and assist Jerry by providing more tools to accomplish his job for you. This will lend in promoting more opportunities through the studio of which you will be able to avail yourselves. If you have not yet met Liz , then please welcome her aboard when you have the chance!

Reminder of Studio Winter Holiday Closing

Our studio will be closed from Saturday, December 18 – Sunday, January 2^nd. We will reopen on Monday, January 3^rd at 10 a.m. We wish all of you and yours a most FULFILLING, BLESSED, SAFE holiday season and look forward to seeing you again after your celebrations!

November’s Open House Guest Night “Harvest Moon Ball”

Attendance (40) was spectacular with MANY favorable comments for the evening! Our intention is to make this our annual black tie affair, and we will be planning to hold this event at Olympia Resort & Conference Center in November 2005. We will continue working throughout this coming year to plan for the event. We want to invite other surrounding dance studios from Milwaukee , Waukesha , etc. and have an evening of dinner and dancing followed by a Showcase Event the next day. The showcase will include clients / students currently enrolled in continuing programs. This is, of course, on a strictly volunteer basis as YOU wish to demonstrate your dancing progress for your family and friends! So let our Program Coordinator know of your desire to participate in this event.

December’s Open House Guest Night “ Holiday Party”

This event also formal, if you wish, is planned for Friday, December 17^th from 7 – 9 p.m. As always this evening is meant for you to invite your family and friends to visit your studio and witness your dancing progress. It is FREE to you and your guests with the only ‘cost to attend’ being that of bringing a dish to share for the Potluck Dinner portion of the evening. As a way to simplify everyone’s busy schedules in the midst of holiday preparations and shopping obligations, several people who regularly attend our Guest Parties have suggested that we should just plan to bring finger food appetizers and desserts. Therefore, if you will include in your RSVP what dish you would like to contribute, it helps everyone else not to duplicate efforts. We only ask that you PLEASE RSVP by the Wednesday prior (12/15) in order for us to properly plan the beverage quantity the studio will provide.

January’s Open House Guest Night 1 Year Anniversay Celebration

January 12, 2005 is the official Premiere Social Ballroom 1 Year Anniversary date! Therefore, our January Open House Guest Night will be a celebration that we would like to share with you, the community, which has made this dream of ours possible! Thank you for continuing to place your confidence in us and our studio, for all of the referrals that you give for the studio and your enthusiastic participation in the events we offer. So please mark your calendar for Friday, January 21^st 7 – 10 p.m. to come celebrate our “Birthday Anniversary” with us! Again, you are welcome to invite your family and friends to ‘party’ and have loads of FUN with us on the joyous occasion!

Did you know….

That you can reserve the studio for your personal and / or business parties?

In October a local charity group, Friendship Bridge , hosted its annual Salsa-Thon Fund Raising Event here at Premiere Social Ballroom and received a group Salsa lesson from our Program Coordinator. As many as 85 people attended this private event. Their efforts provide financial programs to assist Guatemalan women pursuing their own personal business interests. We offer discounted space rental rates for charitable organizations to show our support of such worthy causes! A two-hour minimum reservation is required.

That Jerry is now teaching group sessions at Alliance Bible Church in Oconomowoc at least once a month?

There has been a VERY positive response to this church’s community outreach. There have been as many as forty couples and / or singles in attendance. We would be happy to arrange an event such as this for some program close to your heart as well!

Alliance Bible Church has asked us to inform you of their upcoming event on Friday, January 14^th, 7 – 10 p.m. and would like to invite you to attend their dance with the Ten Tones. The cost to attend is $10 per couple. No advance ticket purchase is required. For more information, you may call Alliance Bible Church @ (262) 567-5311 .

That Jerry will arrange ‘Private” Group Sessions for you, your family and friends?

This past Saturday morning several members of the Oconomowoc City Council and their spouses began their own private group sessions here at the studio. If you know several people in your circle of friends or co-workers that are interested in doing this as a FUN , inexpensive way to get together, please ask us for more details. “Group Sessions aren’t just for Tuesday and Thursday nights anymore!”

That we offer Gift Certificates?

When you excitedly tell your friends and family about your ballroom dancing, do they say to you, “OH! I have ALWAYS wanted to try that!” If you would like to share your love of ballroom dancing with others whom you feel might like to try this opportunity, we would be happy to help you with your holiday shopping with the ease of Gift Certificates!

Our 5/$25 per person Introductory Special is a safe, non-threatening, minimal commitment for your family and friends to test the waters of ballroom dancing. Their benefit is 3 (30 min) Private Sessions, 1 (1 hour) Group Session and 1 (1 ½ hr) Practice Session. Another wonderful option is to purchase a 1x only Group/Practice Session Package at 5/$30. This will give them the opportunity to try it with a group if they feel that Private Sessions just are not the right fit at this time. Please let us know how we can help you!

New Pricing Effective November 1, 10 04

We have implemented a new pricing structure as of November 1^st. As I tell everyone when we have drop-ins or visitors, after meeting with the CPA in May, we are now aware that we should have been collecting sales tax on our programs from the beginning as required by the state of WI because ours is a business of ‘service’. We have all of the new pricing information for you in a convenient one-page format for your ease of reference when you are ready to continue your dance program. Please ask for your copy at your next visit. All current programs will continue to be honored per your current Client Enrollment Agreement.

Spring ’05 WI State DanceSport Championship Preparations

Our Program Coordinator has begun preparations for the Spring ’05 DanceSport Competition held in Milwaukee . It was held last year at the Pfister Hotel. As we receive more details, we will pass that to you as well. If Jerry has not already made you aware of this opportunity, please let Jerry know if you are interested in preparing to participate in this event as an amateur or if you prefer to attend with the studio staff as a spectator only. This will be an outside Studio Event opportunity NOT to miss!
