Hello & Happy New Year to Everyone! 

Can you believe that it is 2005 already?  It is snowing here tonight (expecting about 4 – 7” the last I heard), but we still have had an enthusiastic turnout for those who have scheduled Private Sessions for tonight!  It is encouraging to see their continued love for and dedication to ballroom dancing!

We anticipate that your Christmas was fantastic and the ringing in of your New Year was a great one!  Welcome back to your ballroom email updates for what is happening and upcoming at your ballroom. 

Celebrations:

Have I missed your special day?  I have no birthdays or anniversaries on our calendar for the next two weeks.  Please do not hesitate to let us know about your special date.  Your ‘reward’ for doing so is that if you are actively taking sessions, (i.e. at least one private session within 10 days of your celebration date), our “Gift” to you is one complimentary Private Session equivalent to your current enrollment program.  This is our way to helping you to celebrate YOU and your special day!  So click ‘reply’ to let me know about your special day, and I will mark our calendar as a reminder!

This newsletter issue has an attached copy of our most recently updated Group Sessions Calendar. 

PLEASE TAKE NOTE:  Effective, Monday, January 17, 2005 , we will be testing the idea of Monday night Group Sessions in lieu of Tuesday nights.  Several people have told us that they could come two nights a week for group if it were only on Monday night instead of Tuesday.  So, we are going to test this theory to see if the change will be a better one for you!  Same time:  Group 6 – 7 p.m. and Practice Session 7 -8:30 p.m.

The continuation of a Monday night Group Session will hinge entirely upon the student body’s participation.  If by Monday, March 14^th, the turnout is no greater than it has been on Tuesday evenings, we will go to Thursday Group Night schedule ONLY.  So please give us feedback on how YOU like the Monday night opportunity to jumpstart your week with our energizing Group Sessions.  These are geared to be “exercise equivalent” to help you with your New Year’s Resolutions and, I BET a WHOLE LOT MORE FUN for you than a weight machine … I know it is for me!

Upcoming Events

          Friday, January 7^th (7 – 10 p.m.)          The auction winners of the St. Jerome ’s Endowment Fund (Chapmans & Muehlbauers) will be hosting their private “Salsa” party here at Premiere Social Ballroom.  Did you know that you too can host your own private (personal or corporate) party here?  I know that many businesses choose to wait until AFTER the New Year to actually hold their holiday parties.  Please consider us as a location to hold yours.  You will even receive a complimentary 50 minute Group Class of your choice.  Waltz, Salsa, Foxtrot, Swing, Tango anyone? What will your ‘theme’ be?

           Friday, January 14^th (7 – 10 p.m.)        The Ten Tones (a band who has played for us on a couple of occasions) will    Play at Alliance Bible Church located on Hwy 67 North in Oconomowoc , WI . The charge is $10 PER COUPLE, not per person.  The event coordinator, Jalane, has asked us to invite you if you would like yet one more opportunity to dance!  For more details, you may call (262) 567-5311 .

           Friday, January 21^st (7 – 10 p.m.)         Premiere Social Ballroom will be holding its “One Year Anniversary Party”   at the studio.  Official invitations will be forthcoming by the week’s end, but   I wanted you to mark your calendars now to help us celebrate the success  of our first year in business (as of January 12^th) in the Oconomowoc  community.  It is because of YOU that we have met our first year with such warmth and enthusiasm!   The evening’s Showcase will be an exhibition of what you, our supporters, have accomplished in the time you have been with us!  As always, the only ‘cost to attend’ is a potluck dish – enough for yourself, the guest you invite to  attend with you and enough for two others!  Please RSVP by Wednesday, January 19, with your planned number of attendees.  This is a celebration you don’t want to miss!

Our Quarterly and overall Annual Winners for the Top Student and for Top Student Referrals will be announced at this event!  

          Friday, February 18^th (7 – 9 p.m.)        “Sweetheart Ball” to celebrate Valentine’s Day!  The same ‘cost to attend’ outlined above applies for this event.  Also, remember that we offer Gift certificates for that special someone in your life.  We will be happy to help you celebrate yet one more happy occasion!  Do you know another couple who could use a little more fun and romance in their relationship?  What a fantastic “Date Nights of Dance” a gift certificate would be for re-igniting those embers of love and appreciation!  Our introductory Special of 5/$25 per person provides three (30 minutes each) Private Sessions , one (1 hour) Group and one (1 1/2 hour) Practice Session.  Wouldn’t you agree that 4 hours of dancing will make a lovely gift?
